“How does it feel to be smooth? / Why do you have to be smooth?” LA based duo r00ms silkily sing to ironic notes via their promising debut single, ‘Bittersweet Company’. With production that points towards How To Dress Well and Jessie Ware, the R’n’B jazz fusion is all held together with a butter-couldn’t-melt bass line. Originally an enigmatic side project, the two have spent a number of years in bands together and finally decided that r00ms could be a secret no more.
